Northam Beach Cafe

If you are a tourist and looking for good street food with nice environment 

Please pay Northam Beach Cafe a visit

Northam Beach Cafe is always my favorite food court. 

Even though they price a little bit higher than others 

BUT a lot of good food available there!

I don't know what is this called in English
but I can explain it is something like chili paste stir fry with with 4 kinds of vegetable.
which is so awesome 

It goes so well with rice! 

But no everyone is serving this good. 

As far as I know, Northam Beach and Ah Keat Seafood both are good. 

Asam Laksa !!!!! It has the whole fish fillet on top of laksa 

which we rarely see this in Penang 

But I dont quite like this. 

Fried Oyster in Northam Beach is the best I ever had. 

Their fresh and juicy oyster 

Ahhhh...So nice !

Mizi Bistro at New World Park

Alright back to the topic, we drove around in Penang and it was so pack today

everywhere ...

Wanted to find a cafe but we really didnt want to stuck in the heavy traffic anymore !

Mizi Bistro, I've heard about this place quite a few times 

and finally get to try it

Set lunch is available !!! only RM25 with 

a soup,main course,drinks and free flow ice-cream

And please see below photos to know why its so worthy

Have to give them a like for their super fast service  

 and then we have this fresh pumpkin soup

It was so rich so I couldnt had much 

 Cajun Fish - egg with fish,eggplant,carrot,broccoli 

Quite delicious 

 Chicken Lasagna 

quite special to me so it doesnt look like the others

Appear in rectangular size

I had chicken parmigiana

As I couldnt make a choice between pasta and chicken 

LOL

But deep in my heart I was craving for fish...

muahaha 

 My lovely grandma had this
i don't know what is the name but I know it comes with apples inside the chicken 

sound unique?

Only this appear to me normal as other main course

appear to be giant size 

I didnt manage to finish the whole dish so I took away the whole 

piece of fried chicken 

 Lastly, force myself to have 2 scoops of ice-cream.....

RM106 for 4 of us.

I reckon this is reasonable 

Don't you think so ?

A pleasant stay at E&O hotel

Thanks to my company I have a chance to stay at this elegant E&O hotel Penang

I was so happy because I really like their style u know 

The old English style 

So great !!!! 

We have booked a premier suite which located at old wing 

It comes with.a king size bed and a twin bed 

We added an extra bed and I was so surprise that they didn't charge me for that.

We slept up to five in that room 

Brought the friends there for some shooting 

Look how great is the pictures

They are selling cheongsam Sam for new year 

We had buffet dinner at their sarkies corner 

It wasn't so impressive to us .

After dinner, we walked around and chilled at the pool side 

The environment was relaxing

(Which nearly fall asleep)

If you are hesitating E&O hotel with another ,

Please go for E&O !!!!

Magnum Cafe Singapore

Finally I managed to visit Magnum concept store after so long !!! 

I went to the one which is located at Vivo city 

I'm not sure whether they are still available but as a mad fan of ice cream

I live this place so much !!!

Tad aaa 

Look , they did serve chicken pie 

But it taste pretty ordinary but doesn't matter as I think majority of us are not coming for this lol 

The mr. Ordered a mojito 

I'm fine with mojito but it wasn't took good to have this mojito with

Chicken pie I guess

Here comes the main course 

I was attracted by those berries but they were not as impressive as I thought.

It's pretty when vanilla that come with rose petal and various types of berries. 

The portion is so small and a little bit not so worth for money I think...

I prefer the one we can made it  our own 

its only $7 SGD each 

Nice and cheap

I had too much "flowers" on top of my ice cream 

LOL

It looks pretty but taste so flowery

hahahahah

Please pay Magnum Singapore a visit if you are a big fans of ice cream !

许留山 Hui LAU San mango feast

hui Lau San originate from Hong Kong 

Their dessert are mainly mango base and it's getting more and more popular in Malaysia

Nothing much to blog about 

I believe majority has tried it

How do you feel ?

Weekend buffet at G Hotel

It was my friend's birthday if Im not wrong 

LOL

One month back

The buddy was staying a night a G hotel and thanks for her treat 

The buffet wasn't as good as the one at Rasa Sayang 

but at least better than E&O Hotel 

(My personal point of view)

I only managed to take some photos before the dinner starts

mainly on dessert bar only.

Chocolate Fountain 

I am not a big fans of chocolate fountain but surprisingly I can't stop 

eating their chocolate. 

Wide selection of cakes but the cakes are pretty ordinary

Their appetizer, 

Mini spring roll and mini fried dumpling 

In fact beside dessert and appetizer 

They still serve pasta, prawn noodle, mix grilled meat and so on....

Fishpot at Starview Restaurant Prai

It is our all time favorite to have this fishpot at our lunch time 

It is not so expensive . Something like a RM60++ to share 

I am sorry if this picture doesnt make you feel good but I just try to show you all the freshness of their raw fish 

LOL 

ThE soup comes in white color 

Its like a milky base 

But I have to say it goes very well with rice 

And their special sauce taste good as well

It is our usual practise to order some side like salad prawn or spril roll which both are soooooo delicious !! 

They only have one size for their fishpot and it can be share by 4 to 5 person 

Im not sure whether add on is possible 

Look at that !!!! How delicious !!!!

Tofu , fried fish, fresh fish, vege and glass noodle in a pot

Simple, healthy yet tasty

Sweet Sin Cafe in Siam Square Bangkok

I was in Bangkok last month for co trip

Due to some reason I reached there earlier than others...

Alright, after checking in the hotel I decided to take MRT to 

my super familiar place 

Siam Paragon

Even though I have been there for quite a few times but this was my first

time taking MRT in Bangkok

I didnt do it previously was because I really couldnt understand how it works

Couldnt recall why I was in a mood to take adventure

I've decided to take MRT to Siam Paragon which i roughly know 

it is just 2 stops away from my hotel

Oh ya, I was staying at Chateau de Bangkok which is a 4 star serviced apartment 

We had a two bedrooms apartment 

Thank god I reached there safely then I could only get some salad from the hypermarket. 

I remember Ive been to somewhere named Siam Square which is somewhere around 

Novotel  next to Siam Paragon 

Indeed Im right and everything look so familiar to me now 

(The last time ive been to Siam Square is something like a 5 years back) 

It didnt change much, the food court or I should call it as a food lane is still there

service hawker food , crowded as usual. 

Finally found the famous mango tango 

Unlike Mr.Jones Orphanage cake house, this is easy to be found 

Do some shopping around then found this little cafe

Their pink little sign board attracted me. 

It is located at 2nd floor fyi

I was expecting to see something good when I walked up to the narrow staircase and 

it is great that it didnt put me down 

This cafe is so damn cute ! 

It is small though 

It was so nice to sit at the corner 

watching cars and crowd down at the street

Accompanied by their superb nice iced green tea latte 

I didnt spend much time there as I have to get back to the hotel 

before my colleague is there 

LOL 

Oh ya, they put little menu down there and there is a sign board which you can 

clearly find it because pink color is too adorable 

I Love coffee, tea, salad, pasta,sandwich,cakes and bread.......

Heritage trip to Suffolk House -afternoon tea

I personally think Suffolk House is hidden nicely inside the city 

I mean it is somewhere very quite off from the busy road. 

It has some history which idont really know about it.

How do you feel ?

It's pretty small inside and there wasn't any proper reception available 

(No one there to entertain us upon our arrival)

Five of us were sharing a set of afternoon tea 

It's more than enough as we just had our lunch not long ago

And I wasn't too impressed when I they were served honestly

Scones, sandwiches,pies,cookies and cakes 

Undeniable that scone taste good

It goes perfectly with the cream but too bad they didn't have raspberry  jam

Mint tea and orange cream tea 

We also ordered3 iced coffee which I was quite surprise when the waiter told us that they will change us a new one if we do not like the taste
